- Customer will be billed after indicating acceptance of this quote. Tax Invoice will be issued upon receipt of proof of payment.
- Quote only valid for 14 days and is payable upon receipt.
- Any electrical work must be coordinated with our offices once payment has been received.
- Payment of this quotation concludes this as a legal binding purchase order.
- Only EFT payment accepted. NO CHEQUES or CASH. INSTALLERS are STRICLTY prohibited from accepting any form of payment onsite whatsoever.
- All electrical work is done to SANS 10142 (SABS 0142) standards however, CoC (Certificate of Compliance) is not included in this quotation unless explicitly specified in the quotation. You are advised that following any electrical installation and repairs you must get an updated Certificate of Compliance (CoC). You are free to choose any certified electrician to give you an updated certificate of compliance.
- Should installer not be able to get access to premises and / or not be able to install meter/s due to no fault of installer; then you will be charged an additional callout fee per each callout +R600 per every hour that the installer must wait without ability to proceed with installation.
- For safety reasons, electricity and water meter installations are prohibited after 17:00. Weekend installations are booked at sole discretion of Prepaid CityMeters. Consideration of weekend installations will be only for the Gauteng area and charged at an extra 15% of total installation quotation.
- In the case of a quotation sent prior to any completion of a site inspection; if any additional equipment, materials &/ time is required, then the price will be subject to change. Installation is fitting to fitting (FTF) for meters.
- All integrated keypad meters are by DEFAULT Tamper Detection in addition to which we provide Security Seals and Software Tamper Alerts for further tamper detection and risk protection. We however do not recommend any passive/ common based meters due to high tamper risk.
- PAYMENTS: The cut off dates are from the 21st to 20th of every month and payments are made on the last day of the month.
- LEASING Options Provided: Prepaid CityMeters (PTY) Ltd has established partnerships with a Financial Service Provider, as a facilitator, to assist with the leasing options of meters, of which the undersigned party allows Prepaid CityMeters, vending system to be utilized, until such time that all monies are paid in full over the period of the lease agreement.
- Meter registration is free and should be on PCM vending system for a minimum period of 36 months.
- Water meter managing fee is R 50.00 per meter per month.
Documents required before meters are sent out or installed
1.Copy of ID – Fraud prevention, and to know who your customers are.
2.Bank confirmation letter – To make sure payments are made to the correct bank account,
3.Latest Municipal account – To add the correct tariff rate to the meter.

Installation

3. Vending system allows for full recovery of the units utilized.
